In April 2024, the Rotary Club of Penticton Sunrise partnered with the Ukraine Nightingale Project to assist with urgent dental care needs for eleven recently arrived youth from war-torn Ukraine, who did not qualify for dental care through parental employment or government assistance. The club donated funds to the project and Rotarians contacted local dentists, inviting them to participate in the program by offering dental care at reduced or minimal fees. Five dentists joined the project.

The club has been active in both community events and projects. Members partnered with the Salvation Army for a "Christmas in July" Food Drive. The club volunteered with Penticton Rotary Club at the final Penticton Ironman Triathlon. A fall clean up at OSNS was completed. The annual "Pizza and Parkas for Polio was held on World Polio Day. The 24 Days of Christmas Raffle is in progress with proceeds going to OSNS Accessible Playground Upgrade.

Penticton Sunrise Rotary held a "Christmas in July" Food Drive to raise funds for the Salvation Army Penticton Food Bank. Over $1200.00 and 1200 pounds of food was collected.

Club Members were busy in the spring with fundraising events including The Annual Scotch Tasting Event, Used Book Sale and T-shirt Sales at the Peach City Beach Cruise. We also awarded the Unsung Citizen Award to Jennifer Martison, of the Ukraine Nightingale Project and donated funds for dental work for newly arrived Ukrainians.
