I am delighted to honor President-Elect Alex Bodden as our Club Rotarian of the Month for April.
Upon joining our Club in Oct. 2016, Alex immediately rolled up his sleeves and became actively involved, often assuming a leadership role, in numerous activities. First and foremost, he eagerly stepped up to become President-Elect in RY 2017-2018, a mere 9 months after becoming a Rotarian and has provided sage advice as a valued and well-respected Board member ever since. We are all looking forward to his second term as President beginning in July with anticipation of an exciting upcoming Rotary Year.
Foremost among his notable contributions to our Club’s recent achievements has been been overseeing our Used Book Sale for the past three years.
He and Bobbi have been great host parents for two inbound students, Aksel Pashoej and Monica Cabrera, as well as hosting two Club summer barbeques where a good time was had by one and all.
An avid naturalist, he has led members on several birding outings.
He is a Paul Harris Fellow, and is closing in on plus 1. He has been a sustaining member of TRF every year since joining our Club.
Last but not least, he received the District Club Change Maker award in RY 2018-2019 for stellar contributions as Club President.
