Yasemin arrived Aug 22, 2008 after a very long trip that included an extra stay and rescheduling of flights from Vancouver. She is greeted her by her host family, the Milligans. View the video here.
Rotary Show and Shine Car Show August 2, 2008
 The show is now over. A great big thank you to all that participated to make this a fantastic show. The weather cooperated and we had a lot of cars and visitors attend.
Remember that one of the prime focuses for the proceeds of this show go towards youth, such as our international youth exchange and other programs.

Ironman Aid Station - Aug 2007
Here we are at the Rotary Ironman Aid Station on highway 3A just west of Kaleden. Our aid station was voted as the best of all the aid stations, which gave us a little more money for our project.

Results of 2008 Book Sale
The booksale as a great success. Not only did we raise the $5,000 for the Crisis Line, we raised about another $4,000 which will be used locally in other worthwhile ventures. Thank you to everyone for their donations or purchases of books.
Club History
The Penticton-Okanagan Rotary Club received its charter on January 10, 1990, becoming the third Rotary Club in Penticton. The initial membership of 25 men and Women grew to more than 35 over the next four years. Read some of the news clippings here:
